Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how AlgoRhythmic LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("AlgoRhythmic," "we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the AlgoRhythmic service at algorhythmic.art and related domains (the "Service").

We respect your privacy and aim to collect only what we need to provide and improve the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Account information. When you create an account through our authentication provider, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier. We do not receive or store your password.

Payment information. When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment method details directly. We receive limited information from Stripe, including subscription status, billing history, and the last four digits of your payment card. We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or full bank account details.

Communications. If you contact us by email or through support channels, we receive the contents of those communications along with any information you choose to provide.

2.2 Information from Your Use of the Service

Audio input. The Service responds to audio you play. Audio processing for visualization happens in your browser; we do not record or store the audio content. If the Service uses third-party music identification services to enrich the visualization, only the resulting metadata (such as track or genre identifiers) is transmitted, not the audio itself.

Generation activity. We log information about your visual sessions, including the number of images generated, prompts and visual styles used, session timestamps, and which images were displayed. This supports the generation cap, your subscription budget, and improvements to the Service.

Device and technical data. We automatically collect technical information when you use the Service, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, language preference, and pages visited within the Service.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and local storage for authentication, session continuity, and basic analytics. See Section 7 for details.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

Authentication provider. Our authentication provider (Replit) confirms your identity and shares the profile information described above.

Payment processor. Stripe shares the subscription and billing data described above.

We do not purchase personal information from data brokers.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

4. AI Training

We do not use your audio input, your generated images, or your account data to train AI models. Where the Service uses third-party AI generation providers to produce images you request, those providers receive only the prompts and parameters needed to fulfill the request. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below.

5.1 Service Providers

We share information with vendors that help us operate the Service, including:

These providers receive only the information they need to perform their function and are contractually bound to handle it appropriately.

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required to do so by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AlgoRhythmic, our users, or others.

5.3 Business Transfers

If AlgoRhythmic is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5.4 With Your Consent

We may share information for purposes not listed here when you have given us permission.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and subscription information for as long as your account is active. After account closure, we retain limited information for legitimate purposes including legal compliance, fraud prevention, and resolution of disputes — typically for seven years for financial records, and shorter periods for other categories.

Generation activity logs are retained for the duration of your account. You may request earlier deletion as described in Section 8.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

Strictly necessary: Required for authentication, session management, and security. The Service does not function without these.

Functional: Remember your preferences and settings.

Analytics: Help us understand aggregate usage patterns so we can improve the Service.

We do not currently use cookies for cross-site advertising. Most browsers allow you to control or disable cookies through their settings; disabling necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Service.
